We have several more classes scheduled that I just don't have room to include in this newsletter. MOST have info on the website. A couple are so new they haven't been added yet.

Beginning Tatting Class Date CHANGED
Due to a scheduling conflict the date has been changed to:
Feb 2nd & 9th the place (Adys) & time (6p) stay the same. There IS still room in the class. If you have ever wanted to learn to shuttle tat, this is a great opportunity. If the weather is bad, we can also meet on the 16th, so don't be concerned about that. Just come and enjoy learning a really old - new hand craft.

12 Block Finishing Class using a
Flip & Sew technique
Feb 2nd & 16th We all (even quilt shop owners!!) have blocks waiting to be made into quilts. Sometimes we know exactly how we are going to use them; others we need inspiration. This class will show you a quick, easy and fabulous way to finish quilts. By the way, did I mention that it is quick and easy?? Plus in most classes you have to do it like the instructors. Shari is VERY flexible (she can even touch her toes!!), if you don't want the stars in your sashing, she will show you how to change the sashing. You will leave knowing how to finish (includes sashing, batting, borders & backing) a quilt.

Jan's Diamonds on the Prairie Jacket

Just because we have 3 days for this class don't think it's a hard jacket to make. It is NOT; but we learned the first time we offered the class that it just takes a while to get the sewing done. If the 3rd class isn't needed - great - if it is, it's on the schedule.
We just had this before the holidays, but because of the number of requests for it to be repeated it's on the schedule again so soon. Be sure to take advantage of the class while it's here. |
Shari's Machine Embroidery Class (New Class)

Have an embroidery machine and need help learning or a refresher in stabilizers and techniques? Be sure to sign up for Shari's class. You will learn both embroidery (must have a hoop) and applique. Once you find out how easy it is to create on your machine there will be no end to the creative gifts and decorations you will be making.
